My Relationship With Masks

Masks are important because they protect you from COVID 19 but no one enjoys wearing them. Firstly, masks are not easy to wear because they get dirty, they are uncomfortable, hot, and they hide facial expressions. They are also very expensive, at some stores a pack of 20 masks is $50! Is it just me or is that way too much! As well as negatives there are some positives, they keep germs to yourself, and you don’t have to be as cautious about physical distancing when you are wearing a mask. No one likes masks, but we wear them for a good reason, to slow the spread of COVID 19. If we all wear masks soon we might not have to wear them!

We are all definitely learning a lot more about masks than we ever thought we would need to! I look forward to ending my relationship with masks in the future…if you could make one mask “hack” – something that would make mask-wearing a little more bearable…what would it be?

Thank you so much for the comment! I would also love to stop wearing masks. If I could make a mask hack it would probably be a mask that you can eat and drink through with a flap or a zipper. Or it might be a mask you can breathe through a lot easier.

Great blog! I agree with your sentiment that masks are a necessary evil! I sometimes forget that I am wearing mine and try to smile at a someone and I finally realize that have no idea my facial expressions. We really have to rely on other forms of communication and now I realize how important a smile was…..

I think it would be nice if we could create funny sayings that could be applied to our masks to show our feelings/mood for the day. What do you think might be a funny saying you would add to one of your masks?

Great blog – cannot wait to read more (but maybe less about Minecraft)!
